/ WHAT WE DO

Services calibrated to fiber and age

WOOL RUG CLEANING

Hand-woven wool, cleaned without fiber stress

Wool fibers are delicate and can felt or compress when exposed to harsh chemicals or aggressive cleaning. We use pH-neutral solutions and controlled methods specifically matched to your rug’s pile density, knot type, and age — whether it’s a kilim, Persian, or tufted wool. Your rug is thoroughly cleaned while preserving its structure, texture, and natural feel.

Pile direction, knot count, and backing type inform every step. No guesswork: your rug is inspected before a single product is applied.

SILK & PERSION RESTORATION

Delicate fibers handled with material knowledge

Silk and fine Persian rugs require extra care. Silk is protein-based and can be irreversibly damaged by heat or high pH. We assess each rug individually and use gentle, controlled techniques to safely clean and restore colour and vibrancy while protecting delicate fibers and original dyes.

Age is factored into every decision. A century-old Tabriz receives different handling than a 30-year-old Isfahan — the fiber tells us what it needs.

STAIN & DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

Visible damage assessed, not assumed away

We carefully inspect every stain, discolouration, pile distortion, and area of wear before any cleaning begins. We identify the cause — whether tannin, protein, synthetic dyes, or general soiling — so we can choose the safest and most effective treatment. No guesswork. No one-size-fits-all approach. Every decision is made to protect and restore your rug properly.

We do not apply a stain treatment before understanding its origin. Tannin, protein, and synthetic dye stains each respond to different chemistry.
